Family Support Service This free home-based service was established in 2002 and originated from the ongoing casual support requested by parents from our After School Programme due to a lack of practical support from agencies in the Woolston and surrounding areas. Since then there have been approx 80 – 100 families per year that have accessed this service, directly benefiting approx 170 – 200 children per year. Families are able to self refer and the service provides general and practical support for families in areas of crisis management, parenting skills, behaviour management strategies, home management skills, basic financial management and advocacy.:
